Saturday性视界传媒檚 first Peltier Fest at Peltier Ford in Longview drew a crowd of East Texans with an appetite for country music, while their attendance also helped a local charity.

Rob Adkison, general manager of the dealership, said at least 2,500 East Texans signed up in advance to attend the event. Tickets were available for free online. Peltier Ford donated $5 for every ticket scanned at the event entrance to the East Texas Food Bank性视界传媒檚 Longview Resource Center, which provides food to families in need.

Two East Texas rising country singers, Lindale native Chris Colston and Commerce native Don Louis, performed during the event. Attendees chowed down on free hotdogs provided by the dealership and picked up grub from food trucks, while children played in bounce houses or had their faces painted.

The idea for Peltier Fest came about as a way to thank the dealership性视界传媒檚 employees, Adkison said. Then, it turned into a community event 性视界传媒 and a way to help those who need it most.
