Longview性视界传媒檚 Longfellows will present three young women as debutantes May 31 during the organization性视界传媒檚 41st annual Debutante Ball.
Longfellows formed years ago to enhance Longview性视界传媒檚 cultural environment through an annual ball in which the debutantes would be presented. Since then, more than 200 daughters and granddaughters of members have been presented as debutantes.
Debutantes have completed their freshman year of college. They have been active in school organizations and volunteered in the community.
This year性视界传媒檚 debutantes are:
Miss Mary Frances McClure Dodson
McClure is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Jason Scott Dodson. She is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Andrew Craig Jackson and Mr. and Mrs. Bill Richard Dodson, all of Longview.
Her father, Jason, served as president of Longfellows in 2010. He also served on the board of directors and is on the membership committee of Longfellows. McClure性视界传媒檚 mother, Margaret, was presented as a Longfellows debutante in 1997 and was a chairman of the Longfellows ball in 2006 as well as 2013. McClure was presented as a Longfellows junior attendant in 2015.
Double majoring in political science and psychology, McClure has completed her freshman year at The University of Colorado at Boulder. She plans to attend law school after graduation.
McClure graduated from Longview High School in 2024. During her time at the school, she was a member of the golf team, Run Club, National Honor Society, Zonta Club, AMBUCS and founded and served as president of the Love Club. She was a member of the Texas Bank and Trust Student Board of Directors and a member of the Terpsichorean Club of Longview.
McClure is escorted by her brother, Brian Whitfield Dodson, who was a Longfellows junior attendant in 2013 as well as a Longfellows escort in 2023.
Miss Blaire Marie Bodenheimer
Bodenheimer is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Steven James Bodenheimer. She is the maternal granddaughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Earl Brown of Longview and the paternal granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. James Moffit Bodenheimer of Gulf Breeze, Florida.
Bodenheimer graduated from Spring Hill High School in 2024, where she finished in the top 5% of her class. She was president of the school性视界传媒檚 National Honor Society, active in Zonta Club and a member of the Texas Bank and Trust and Spring Hill State Bank Student Boards of Directors. BBodenheimer also represented the senior class as a homecoming senior duchess and was a district champion and a four-time regional qualifier in UIL 4A cross country, a three- time track regional qualifier and participated on the golf and tennis teams.
Bodenheimer has completed her freshman year at Pepperdine University, where she is majoring in business administration.
Bodenheimer was a Longfellow性视界传媒檚 Junior Attendant in 2015. She is escorted by her brother, Marshall Thomas Bodenheimer, who was a junior attendant in 2012.
Miss Addison Grace Minshew
Minshew is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Michael Kevin Minshew of Longview. She is the granddaughter of Longfellows members Mr. and Mrs. Aubrey Hal Pilgrim of Longview.
Minshew was presented as a Longfellows junior attendant in 2015. Addison性视界传媒檚 aunt, Austyn McIvan Pilgrim-Smart, was presented as a Longfellows debutante in 2008.
As a 2024 graduate of Longview High School, Addison was in the top 6% of her class as a student in the International Baccalaureate Program and a Texas Scholar with Merit. She was a member of the National Honor Society, Z-Club, Mental Health Club, LHS Red Cross Club, LHS AMBUCS, Simple Bare Necessities, Terpsichorean Club and the Texas Bank and Trust Student Board of Directors.
Minshew has completed her freshman year at Texas A&M University where she is double majoring in public health and nursing.
She is escorted by her brother, Grayson Landry Minshew of Longview, who was a Longfellows junior attendant in 2019.
