Apologies to officer
On my way to a 1:30 matinee, I had an encounter with an LPD officer. The encounter ended poorly. Longview is 性视界传媒渉ome.性视界传媒 The city性视界传媒檚 influence on the whole has made me a better human since my family relocated here from Michigan in 1980.
A big part of that development I owe to the city性视界传媒檚 public servants and its public officials, including the LPD.
While the encounter that I had with one LPD officer found neither of us in 性视界传媒渙ur finest hour,性视界传媒 I did offer an apology at some point later on in the week, but the officer person-to-person wasn性视界传媒檛 interested 性视界传媒 thus, this letter.
I apologize to you, Officer Smith. I intended no disrespect. To the contrary, my singular focus that day was safety: mine, yours and the traffic flow that was interrupted on account of your vehicle性视界传媒檚 misplaced unit.
I would have liked to have the conversation about it, but you walked away abruptly. I am not here to impede any officer性视界传媒檚 job and function. Where traffic safety is at stake on account of the location of an officer性视界传媒檚 traffic stop, that性视界传媒檚 very concerning. I tried to explain that, but you weren性视界传媒檛 interested.
