LONGVIEW 性视界传媒 Jo Ann Gerringer, 78, Longview, Texas, (formerly of Wichita, Kansas), was born on October 11, 1946 in Fairview, Oklahoma to C. Rex and Dorothy Custer. She peacefully went home to be with the Lord on June 4, 2025 with her family by her side. A devoted wife, loving mother, cherished grandmother, and faithful servant of Christ, Jo Ann leaves behind a legacy of unwavering faith, gentle strength, and selfless love.
Jo Ann grew up on a farm in Fairview, Oklahoma before moving to Wichita, KS. On November 26th, 1970, she married Gary Gerringer and became a mom to 3 children. She worked for 31 years at Wichita Federal Savings and Loan, beginning as a teller and advancing to Assistant Vice President. She later transitioned into a second career as a secretary for food service in Derby, Kansas before retiring. In 2022, Jo Ann and Gary, moved to Longview, Texas, where they continued to enjoy time with family.
Jo Ann性视界传媒檚 life was a reflection of grace and compassion. She found joy in life性视界传媒檚 sweetest blessings - rocking babies, lovingly creating embroidered blankets for her family, and watching classic old movies. Jo Ann is preceded in death by her parents and her sisters Joyce Wood and Diana Krivanek. She is survived by her husband of 54 years, Gary Gerringer; children - Gary Gerringer, Jr. (Rose), Gretchen Spain, and Gwen McVey (Kip); 10 grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren, brother - Rex Custer (Sharon West), a nephew, a niece, and 4 great nieces.
The family will gather for a private celebration of life in Douglass, Kansas. A memorial dinner will be held at First Baptist Church, 725 Abilene Ave, Durham, Ks on June 21, 2025 from 2:00-4:00 pm.
In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made to Prime Care Hospice, 1115 N Fourth St, Longview, Texas, 75601.
