Some kind of odor ÐÔÊӽ紫ý” maybe pleasant, maybe repulsive ÐÔÊӽ紫ý” caused the driver of a Longview Transit bus to wreck Thursday morning, Longview police said.

No one was seriously injured when the bus crashed into a fence and some brush along Silver Falls Road, but three people were transported to a hospital for medical treatment, said Longview police spokesman LaDarian Brown.

First responders were on scene, and the bus was towed away at approximately 10 a.m. Longview police officers blocked the road as the bus was removed.

Brown told the News-Journal on Thursday afternoon that some kind of smell "affected" the driver of the bus, but he had no additional information. Brown did not know whether the smell came from the vehicle or from an occupant of the vehicle.

Scott Lewis, director of Longview Transit, said he didn't believe anyone was seriously injured in the incident. The bus driver was set to be released Thursday from a Longview medical center.

Lewis said he had not been able to watch video footage from inside the bus as of noon Thursday. He was in Austin for meetings.Â
