Creatures were king Wednesday at the Pine Tree Elementary School Auditorium.
Eric Brittingham with Wildlife on the Move brought a variety of critters ÐÔÊӽ紫ý” snakes, lizards and more ÐÔÊӽ紫ý” as part of a Longview Public Library Summer Reading Club event.
Children in the audience also got to hold some of the animals ÐÔÊӽ紫ý” even the creepy ones.
The library's free summer performer series ends July 16 with The Creature Teacher at the Pine Tree Elementary School Auditorium, 1803 Pine Tree Road.
And the club's End of Summer Party is set 10 a.m. to noon July 23 at Broughton Park, 801 S. Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd.
