Donald Trump Jr. flew into Longview on Tuesday evening for a private campaign fundraiser for his father性视界传媒檚 presidential campaign.
About 200 people attended the event at the East Texas Regional Airport, where Trump Jr. spoke for roughly 30 minutes before taking pictures with attendees, Gregg County Judge Bill Stoudt said Wednesday.
The event was hosted by Kim R. Smith, owner of KRS Jet Center.
The event wasn性视界传媒檛 publicized locally. But on Oct. 4, 性视界传媒 founder of the newly created 性视界传媒淗indus for America First性视界传媒 pro-Trump organization 性视界传媒 announced on X that the event would take place.
The cost to attend the event ranged between $10,000 and $50,000 per couple, for the fundraiser.
Stoudt attended the event to introduce U.S. Rep. Nathaniel Moran, R-Tyler, who introduced Trump Jr.
Trump Jr. flew via private jet from Dallas Love Field and arrived in Longview around 6 p.m. He flew back to Dallas around 7:30 p.m.
An employee at KRS Jet Center referred the News-Journal to Stoudt for comment Wednesday.
Tuesday wasn性视界传媒檛 the first time Trump Jr. campaigned for his father in Longview. He flew into Longview in 2016 for another fundraiser hosted by Smith at the airport.
That event raised roughly $500,000, the News-Journal reported.
Trump Jr. on Tuesday spoke about the differences between his father and Democratic presidential candidate Vice President Kamala Harris, Stoudt said.
Stoudt said he didn性视界传媒檛 know how much money was raised during the event, but 性视界传媒淚 think they did pretty well.性视界传媒
Stoudt said he supports Trump because Trump性视界传媒檚 policies are in line with the values of East Texans. Like other East Texans, he性视界传媒檚 concerned about the direction in which the country is heading.
