The Logan City Police Department notified the public of multiple text message scams Thursday, regarding outstanding parking tickets, missed jury duty and false Utah Division of Motor Vehicle notifications.

Residents reported text messages asking them to pay unpaid parking tickets, threatening penalties for missed jury duty responsibilities and claiming their vehicle性视界传媒檚 registration had expired, many of which included suspicious links, according to the post.

The North Park Police Department reposted LCPD性视界传媒檚 post, saying it had received the same reports.

LCPD urged residents to not click on any of the links, respond to the messages or provide any personal information, adding residents should simply delete the messages.

性视界传媒淲e also encourage you to spread the word, especially to friends, family, and neighbors who may not be aware of these scams,性视界传媒 the post states. 性视界传媒淚f you are ever unsure whether a message is legitimate, please contact the Logan City Police Department directly at 435-716-9300 before taking any action.性视界传媒

The Brigham City Police Department also issued a similar warning Friday morning and provided a screenshot of a suspicious text message on .

BCPD性视界传媒檚 post clarified the United States性视界传媒 country code for phone numbers is 性视界传媒+1,性视界传媒 while fraudulent text messages have come from the Philippines country code of 性视界传媒+63.性视界传媒
