Ten New Diana High School student-athletes recently signed national letters of intent to continue their academic and athletic careers at the college level. In all, 19 New Diana athletes (25 percent of the senior class) has signed national letters this year according to head football coach and athletic director Jason Pitts. Recent signees included Kelleigh Averett (Kilgore College, mascot), Kilie Sims (Kilgore College, cheer), Channing Muller (Kilgore College, cheer), Jolie Ballard (Kilgore College, cheer), Jay Sanders (Howard Payne, football), Davyon Mapps (Howard Payne, football), Starrmia Dixon (Prairie View A&M, track), Tavarus Williams (Kilgore College, athletic trainer), Colt McDowell (LeTourneau University, baseball), Remi Rountree (A&M-Texarkana, baseball).
