Salmonella cases in Great Falls linked to national outbreak

The Great Falls community is on high alert as several local cases of Salmonella have been linked to a national outbreak. The City-County Health Department is working with schools to test food samples and identify the source. While no new cases have been reported since mid-November, the investigation continues to ensure the safety of students and families.

GREAT FALLS, Mont. ÐÔÊӽ紫ý“ Initial testing results have shown that several cases of Salmonella in Great Falls are connected to a national outbreak. The City-County Health Department (CCHD) reported that three cases in the area match the national outbreak strain according to state testing.Â
