The Texas Department of Transportation has announced an eastbound, outside lane closure on Interstate 20 in Gregg County at the Sabine River bridge because of damage to the bridge deck.
The closure is at聽mile marker 583.
There is no damage to the structure of the bridge, TxDOT said.
The repairs begin May 14 and are scheduled to take four to five days to complete.
"Motorists are encouraged to pay attention when driving through the work zone and be aware that delays may occur," TxDOT said in a statement.
