Challenger Jody Berryhill and District 5 Longview Councilwoman Michelle Gamboa

Longview Councilwoman Michelle Gamboa outspent and outraised her District 5 challenger several times over in the last campaign finance reports that were filed before Saturday性视界传媒檚 Election Day.

Gamboa, who is seeking her second, three-year term on the council, raised $9,775, the report said. She spent $8,484.

Challenger Jody Berryhill received a total $3,100 in political contributions and spent $1,691.

The reports were filed April 25 for the period of April 3 to 25 as required by law.

The final reports saw Mayor Kristen Ishihara and her husband, Richard, donate $1,500 to Gamboa性视界传媒檚 re-election campaign. That性视界传媒檚 in addition to the $1,000 contribution Ishihara previously gave.

Gamboa性视界传媒檚 largest supporter, though, is Ron Hutchinson, who gave her $2,750 in this reporting period. That followed an earlier $5,000 donation.

The largest portion of her campaign expenditures this reporting period were to pay Green Ad Agency. She spent $5,991 on various advertising expenses.

Former Mayor Murray Moore gave $1,000 to Berryhill性视界传媒檚 campaign during this reporting period, making him Berryhill性视界传媒檚 largest overall contributor. He previously gave Berryhill another $1,000 contribution.

Berryhill性视界传媒檚 largest expense was for a text messaging service based in New York that was used for advertising purposes.

Voting on Saturday is 7 a.m.-to 7 p.m. at Spring Hill Jr. High Gym, 3101 Spring Hill Road.
