Longview Daily Deals opened this past week inside a former Advance Auto Parts at 212 E. Marshall Ave.
Basil Shalabi opened the business with his family, including daughter Mayssam Shalabi. She said their family moved to Longview from Florida to open the store, modeling it after similar businesses in other states that are owned by members of their extended family.
Multiple locations of this type of store have opened around Longview featuring closeouts or returns from major retailers or websites at reduced prices. Prices continue dropping throughout the week until the weekly reset day when new merchandise is put out.
Longview Daily Deals closes each Thursday so it can restock, Basal Shalabi said. Most prices start at $10 when the store reopens on Friday, although bikes, electronics and other items are priced higher.
Prices drop each day until they性视界传媒檙e at $3, when the store closes to restock. Hours are 9 a.m.-7 p.m. Friday, Saturday, Monday, Tuedsay and Wednesday and 11 a..m.-5 p.m. Sunday.
Longview Daily Deals also will be open 3 p.m.-9 p.m. on Thanksgiving.
Mall stores

The store stocks household items such as lamps, tableware and bowls, food and beverages, health and beauty items and fashion accessories. MiniSo was established by Jack Ye, with its headquarters in Guangzhou, China.

In addition, Hickory Farms has opened in a storefront in Longview Mall in time for the Christmas shopping season. The store typically locates in a kiosk in the center of the mall but this year moved into a location that in years past has been a jewelry store.
Edible Arrangements
Edible Arrangements is preparing to open in the same shopping center as Papacita性视界传媒檚 and Hobby Lobby in Longview.
The national franchise offers a variety of fruit baskets and arrangements, chocolate-covered strawberries and other desserts.
Work was underway this past week in Suite 105 at 305 W. Loop 281, where Red Wing boots previously was located before moving to 3052 N. Eastman Road.
