The Gregg County 4-H is serving up more than just pancakes this summer. With the return of its much-anticipated third annual Pancake Breakfast Fundraiser and a dynamic lineup of youth summer day camps, the organization is strengthening its commitment to youth development, leadership, and community involvement in East Texas.

Morning of Pancakes for a PurposeThe 3rd Annual Pancake Breakfast Fundraiser will be held on Saturday, June 14, 2025, from 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service Office, located at 405 E. Marshall Ave, Ste 101, Longview, TX 75601. This breakfast event promises a warm, delicious meal featuring pancakes, sausage, fruit toppings, syrup, coffee, and juiceÐÔÊӽ紫ý”all in support of local 4-H youth.

This yearÐÔÊӽ紫ý™s breakfast is donation-only, with suggested amounts of $10, $15, or $20, and children under 8 eat free. Donations can be made through Venmo (@GreggCounty4H), cash or by check payable to the Gregg County 4-H Adult Leader Association. Attendees can choose to dine in or take their meal to go, making it a convenient weekend outing for families.

Funds raised will directly support scholarships, contest fees, summer day camps, club membership dues, and program materials for youth participating in Gregg County 4-H programs. With every bite, attendees will be investing in the growth and education of the next generation of community leaders.

Summer Full of Learning and AdventureFollowing the breakfast, the summer heats up with a full schedule of Summer Day Camps running from June 13 to June 27, from 9:00 AM to 4:30 PM daily, also held at the Extension Office in Longview.

Each camp day includes breakfast, snacks, and lunchÐÔÊӽ紫ý”a huge bonus for busy families looking to keep their children engaged, learning, and well-fed. The cost of each camp is just $20, making it an affordable opportunity for high-quality youth programming.

Camp ScheduleJune 13 ÐÔÊӽ紫ý“ Robotics Camp: Kids dive into hands-on STEM projects, building and programming robots in a fun, collaborative environment.

June 18 ÐÔÊӽ紫ý“ Family & Community Health (FCH) Camp: Campers learn about nutrition, fitness, and healthy living through interactive workshops.

June 20 ÐÔÊӽ紫ý“ Adulting 101 Camp: Essential life skills like budgeting, meal planning, and communication are taught in a way that empowers young people for the future.

June 25 ÐÔÊӽ紫ý“ Explore 4-H Camp: A perfect introduction to the wide array of 4-H opportunities, from agriculture to public speaking.

June 27 ÐÔÊӽ紫ý“ Outdoor Adventure Camp: This action-packed day includes outdoor skills, environmental education, and teamwork-based activities.
