LONGVIEW 3, P. TREE 0: The Longview Lobos improved to 5-0 in District 15-5A play with a 3-0 shutout of crosstown rival Pine Tree on Friday.

Longview, now 10-4 overall, opened the scoring with two early goals from seniors Karsten Guerra and Miguel Rojo. Guerro性视界传媒檚 goal came from a Gordo Corona corner kick, and Rojo scored off a Stephen Gaskin cross.

Rojo hit the back of the net for his second goal late in the contest from a well struck corner kick.

The Lobos will visit Whitehouse on Tuesday. Pine Tree travels to Texarkana to take on Texas High.

GIRLS

LONGVIEW 6, P. TREE 0: Longview led 3-0 at the half on the way to a 6-0 win over crosstown rival Pine Tree in District 15-5A action.

Jayleen Delapaz, Kat Markowitz and Yuli Alba all scored in the first half off assists from Daysha Torres, Carlisle Land and Mia Monsivais.

In the second half, Johnson, Markowitz and Alba all hit the back of the net, with Evelyn Campos, Torres and Johnson assisting.

The Lady Lobos moved to 4-0-1 in district play with the win.
